Prisma Graphic is FSC Certified

Prisma Graphic demonstrates respect for the planet, while maintaining its reputation as a high-quality commercial printer. Prisma Graphic, one of the Southwest’s leading privately owned commercial printers, becomes FSC certified to help protect the environment.

“FSC certification was the next logical step for Prisma. Over the years, we have developed our own internal Sustainability Program. This program has focused on reducing our overall power consumption, recycling excess production materials, as well as properly treating and disposing of the chemicals used in the printing process,” states Robert Anderson, President.

Get Creative with your Real Estate Marketing

Marketing your real estate doesn’t have to be hard. Lucky for you, we are providing some inspiration here for you to help get the creative juices flowing. Using high quality graphic design elements, alittle creativity, and quality and professional commercial printing, you can create a winning real estate marketing campaign. Below are some quick tips to help you get started, before you hire a design or start sketching yourself.

Represent Yourself

1. Find Out Who You Are Marketing To. Are you looking to market yourself as the Home Town Neighborhood Agent or the Upscale Property Expert? Do you want to target First Time Buyers or Premium Commercial Clients? Answering who your target market is will help determine how to market and how to build your brand. Your marketing brand will include flyers, postcards, informational packets, brochures, CD and DVD’s and other marketing material.

2. Be You and Not Like Everyone Else. Many agents use the same formula when creating their Real Estate Marketing material. Call it “mediocrity in three parts.” The first part is the agent’s photo, the second part is the carbon-copy message, and the third part is the “call today for a no-obligation consultation.” Seriously. Give your potential clients something unique. Just make sure that you are staying true to step #1 and knowing your market.

3. “I can save a little money and do it all myself”… Wait! Don’t do that. Creating a brand requires professional help. Consult a local graphic designer and commercial printer to handle what they do best…making high quality marketing materials.

Take alook at some of the examples of creative printed brochures, postcards and other marketing materials from the real estate industry as well as others and use it for inspiration on how you can market to your potential clients.

How to Save Money on Your Print Binding

The right design can make our break a print catalog. But, the design and content are not the only things that are important in catalog printing. Your print catalogs are not complete until the binding has been properly placed and done with.

In order for you to maximize your return on investment you need to understand the methods of binding in order to choose the most appropriate for your particular print job. Whether you print catalogs online or the conventional way, using the most suitable binding method will help you a lot in providing your target clients with the best catalog printing possible.

Binding

Bookbinding is the process of physically assembling a book from a number of folded or unfolded sheets of paper or other material. It usually involves attaching covers to the resulting text-block.

If books had been invented after the computer, they would have been considered a big breakthrough. Books have several hundred simultaneous paper-thin, flexible displays. They boot instantly. They run on very low power at a very low cost.
Prof. Joseph M. Jacobson, MIT Media Lab, quoted in the New York Times, Apr 8, 1988, page B2.

Pasted Vs Saddle Stitch

Saddle Stitch

The most popular method, saddle stitching holds the sheets by 2 metal stitches or staples. With this method, pages are spread open at the center, then hung on saddle to be stitched, or stapled, through the fold line at the spine. Ideal for projects with no more than about 60 pages, depending on the sheet weight, this is the simplest and most economical way to bind. Meant for 8-160 pages.

Pasted

The paste-on-fold binding method is more cost effective to produce than a saddle-stitch or perfect-bound book. Examples of paste-on-fold products are college course schedules and seminar catalogs. Meant for 8, 16, 32 or 48 pages .

Which One Saves Me Money

By using the Pasted method you can save 20 – 30% on 8, 16, 24-skinny catalogs.

A commerical printer, much more than ink on paper.

Prisma Graphic:   Paving the Way to a marketing solutions provider.

Prisma Graphic more than ink on paper

To compete as a traditional commercial printer in today’s economic climate and evolving market takes vision. For Prisma Graphic, that vision has been to provide unmatched customer service, consider every client a partner and offer economical marketing solutions beyond ink on paper.

Prisma started as a boutique print shop over 29 years ago, and in 2000 the privately-held company transferred ownership to Bob Anderson. Rather than remaining a great traditional printer, Bob has worked to transform Prisma into an all-inclusive print and marketing solutions provider to help clients improve, implement and execute their marketing efforts. Ever since the transition, the company has experienced 15-20% annual growth each year.

Our staff views every project as an opportunity to further the success of our clients’ image, initiatives and marketing  goals. From our 82,000 square foot facility in Phoenix, we provide design support, heat-set web, sheetfed, variable data printing, full bindery, fulfillment services and complete direct mailing. Additionally, Prisma has a proprietary online product called dokshop – a dynamic online solution enabling our clients to brand manage, distribute products worldwide and print on demand at their convenience. We are also very proud of our green initiatives, which include recycling paper, cardboard, ink cans and drums and printing with vegetable and soy-based inks.

We know you have many choices when it comes to printing. Give Prisma a call today at 800 379-5777 to discuss your next print marketing solution – See firsthand what it really means to Print Smart.

Why printing? The ways Prisma Graphic can help your company prosper.

Why printing?  The ways printing helps your company prosper.

Prisma Graphic  At one time or another we all have taken printing for granted. Perhaps because print has been the world’s number one communication medium for so long, we tend to overlook its impact and power. That oversight could be detrimental to the success of a marketing campaign, a product launch or a branding initiative trying to make connections. Consumers trust print, feel comfortable using it and are unable to fast forward past it. Electronic content comes and goes and when it’s gone, your message disappears with it. Print, on the other hand, is there for the long run.

According to a recent survey by the Magazine Publishers of America 24% of readers will pass along an interesting article to someone else, 23% will save it for future reference and 13% will visit a relevant website; giving advertisers double and triple bonuses on their marketing investments.

This magazine is dedicated to the persuasive power of print and how it continues to evolve and play an important role in the marketing mix. Along with several informative articles throughout, we have included the advantages of using print. We hope you find this blog informative, inspiring and ultimately beneficial to your marketing efforts.

 Sincerely,

The Prisma Graphic Team

Prisma Graphic provides print smart marketing solutions.

Prisma Graphics – Relationships Redefined: Our sales story

Prisma CSR  There are all kinds of sales people, all kinds of buyers and endless bargaining options. Selling a product or service based on price alone is one approach. Being able to earn a long-term business relationship as a trusted solutions provider, however, is something completely unto itself.

Alan McAbee, Prisma Graphic’s General Manager says, “By offering creative ideas, adding project value and even knowing equipment limitations, our sales team demonstrates Prisma’s fair business practices right off the bat.” He goes on to say, “No matter the level of experience, each member of our sales staff has a team of industry professionals behind them to help our clients make the most informed, economical decisions for the specific needs of every project.”

Our ability to sell marketing solutions and secure business with some of the largest and most reputable companies in the world goes well beyond a passion for print and seasoned industry knowledge. The Prisma sales team has redefined the rapport between a printer and its buyers by focusing on one key element. Trust.

“I will never forget the satisfaction I felt for the trust and loyalty of my first corporate client,” says Prisma’s Vice President of Sales, Tim Bateman. “As a salesperson, it is an extremely rewarding experience when a client decides to work with you, and the company that you represent, when you know they have countless options.”

That ideology is just a part of our Print Smart philosophy. From the initial contact, to the delivery and success of each project, we ensure our clients are satisfied throughout the entire production process. We understand partnerships and strive to offer a wide selection of solutions and programs that exceed our clients’ expectations.

Call one of our Prisma’s Sales Representatives today to learn more about what it really means to Print Smart (800 379-5777).
